The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Diosdado Cabello, ratified this Sunday the loyalty of the Bolivarian Revolution with the Venezuelan people, commemorating 21 years of the presidential oath of Commander Hugo Chávez.

Through a pronouncement, he stressed the importance of maintaining the civic-military union as that February 2, 1999 to continue overcoming imperial aggressions:

«Today, when we celebrate this date that sealed the arrival of the People into Power in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, it is an occasion to ratify that sacred oath of loyalty with our People, that perennial bond that led the Commander of all times, Hugo Chavez, to never betray to, to take care of it and devote himself until the end of time in the goal of consolidating the Bolivarian Historical Project, consolidating the Democratic and Social State of Law and Justice provided in the Magna Carta of 1999, freely endorsed by the Venezuelan People”, as reviews the text.

Following, the complete pronouncement:

“PRONOUNCEMENT

TO THE VENEZUELAN PEOPLE AND TO OUR NATIONAL BOLIVARIAN ARMED FORCES, IN A CIVIC-MILITARY UNION WITH THE OCCASION TO CELEBRATE THE TWENTY FIRST YEAR OF THE BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION WHEN THE COMMANDER OF ALL TIMES, HUGO CHÁVEZ, ASSUMED THE PRESIDENCY OF THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA

It was 21 years ago that the Commander of all times, HUGO CHÁVEZ assumed the government together with the men and women of a People who demanded social justice, participation, freedom and democracy.

Commander President HUGO CHÁVEZ assumed the historical task of leading the destinies of a country under the ideals of The Liberator SIMÓN BOLÍVAR, EZEQUIEL ZAMORA and SIMÓN RODRÍGUEZ, ideals that inspired the young patriotic military men on that February 4, 1992, the day of the Dignity, Honor and Loyalty and that has made it possible for the People to become Government so that today, President NICOLÁS MADURO MOROS is the insurgent Civic-Military People governing the Homeland.

Are infinite the lessons of democratic integrity, strength, resilience and struggle that the Venezuelan people has given in these 21 years of renewal of national hope and defense of our independence, sovereignty and integrity, as well as the will to build a homeland of peace and free, that with the work in Civic-Military union allows us to build the greatest sum of happiness and stability for all Venezuelan men and women.

That indeclinable determination of our People has a historical struggle and a hope that has been tainted and betrayed a thousand times by those who exercised power for their profit, their own service and for the benefit of the American empire.

February 2, 1999 is the concretion of the historical link of the civic-military union that we decided to forge in the heat of the struggles of February 27 and 28, 1989 and February 4, 1992, a bond that in supreme unity has allowed us to overcome every affront, every aggression and every difficulty, turning it into a Venezuelan, Bolivarian, patriotic and revolutionary victory.

Today, when we celebrate this date that sealed the arrival of the People into Power in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, it is a propitious opportunity to ratify that sacred oath of loyalty with our People, that perennial bond that has brought the Commander of all times, HUGO CHÁVEZ , to never betray it, to take care of it and to devote himself until the end of time in the goal of consolidating the Bolivarian Historical Project, consolidating the Democratic and Social State of Law and Justice provided in the Magna Carta of 1999, freely endorsed by the Venezuelan People.

From this Originary Constituent Power, whose work has been focused on sustaining the peace and stability of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we consider this date as a single historical gear with those military civic rebellions that, filled with a homeland feeling, forged the victories of the Venezuelan people in 21 years of fighting and heroic victories.

When we see each other and get together in a single homeland embrace and project the battles that we are about to fight before a genocidal empire that intends to return its steps on the anachronistic Monroe doctrine, which sowed death in our continent; what the passing of time does is to sustain the validity of that oath of a Fatherland that we did 28 years ago, on February 4, 1992, and that we ratify together with the Commander of all times, HUGO CHÁVEZ, on February 2, 1999; accompanying today in a decisive and inalienable manner to the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela NICOLÁS MADURO MOROS, in the enormous task that imposes on us this moment in the national history to sustain the peace, independence and national sovereignty, with a Bolivarian revolution that breaks all the molds and all manuals, that of Socialism in the Venezuelan way, the 21st Century Socialism.

Once consecrated our lives and burned our ships, we continue the commitment to be on the side of the struggles of the Venezuelan People 21 years later, with a destiny sealed towards new victories to honor with our determined and loyal sustained struggle, the men and women who cemented our Nation in the epics of the Páramo de Pisba, Carabobo, Pichincha, Boyacá and Ayacucho.

We are convinced, from this Plenipotentiary Power of the Nation, that with the civic-military union and the hard work of all our wills, we will not only continue to defeat the imperialist aggression, but that we will achieve for the future Venezuelan generations to enforce that writing left for posterity by poet and writer José Enrique Rodo:

«…But the fullness of our destinies is approaching, and with it, the time when the whole truth of Bolívar overflows the world. And as far as our America is concerned, he will remain forever as his insurmountable Eponymous Hero. Because the superiority of the hero is not determined only by what he is capable of making abstractly valued the vehemence of his vocation and the energy of his aptitude, but also by what gives from itself the occasion in which it arises, the deed to which he has been sent by the commandment of God; and there are heroic occasions that, for being transcendent and fundamental, are unique or as rare as those celestial conjunctions that the spinning of the stars does not reproduce but after enormous turns of time. When ten centuries have passed, when the patina of a legendary antiquity extends from the Anahuac to the Plata, where today the nature champions or raises its roots civilization; when a hundred human generations have mixed, in the mass of the earth, the dust of their bones with the dust of the forests one hundred thousand times leafless and of the cities twenty times rebuilt, and make reverberate in the memory of men who would scare us for strangers, if we were to prefigure them, myriads of glorious names under companies, feats and victories that we cannot form an image of; even then, if the collective feeling of the free Americas and one has not essentially lost its virtuality, those men, who will see as we do in the snowy summit of the Sorata the most excellent height of the Andes, will see, as we do, that in the extension of their memories of glory there is nothing greater than Bolivar. »

In honor of the Venezuelan People, of the Father of South American Freedom, SIMÓN BOLÍVAR, and to our guide and lighthouse, the Commander of all times, HUGO CHÁVEZ, we, once again, the constituents of the Fatherland, ratify today again our Fatherland oath.

Always Loyal, Never Traitors!
We Shall Overcome!

Caracas, on the two days of February two thousand and twenty. Years 209 ° of Independence, 160 ° of the Federation and 21 ° of the Bolivarian Revolution.
