President Maduro: With the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, was founded the new homeland

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Sunday that “with the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez in 1999, a new homeland was founded, based on humanist and independence ideals”.
«Commander Chávez was the founder of a new homeland. He was the inspiration that led us to the founding of this Homeland”, said the Venezuelan head of state in statements made in a national joint broadcast from the Bolívar-Chávez square located in La Guaira, as part of the commemoration of the last speech given by the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, on December 8, 2012.
In this regard – during an act of swearing in of more than three million militiamen – the National President stressed that for the construction of the socialist and humanist model, Commander Chávez promoted the creation of a new Magna Carta, which on December 15 will meet 20 years after its promulgation:
“20 years ago, for the first time, the people approved this Constitution, thanks to Chavez”, said the Venezuelan president.
In this regard, he reiterated his commitment to continue with the legacy left by the leader of the Revolution and president of the Republic, in the construction of a “socialist, Christian, humanist revolution in the 21st century”.
«Neither traitors, nor cowards, nor corrupt have stopped me, nor will they stop me in front of the oath I made to Commander Chávez. We stand victorious, facing the future. Proud of our commitment. There are things that remain to be done, but they can only be done in revolution. All our dreams can be made possible if we have a Homeland in Revolution”, said President Maduro.
On December 8, 2012, Hugo Chávez transmitted his last address in which he asked Venezuelans to remain in a civic-military union before the divisive pretensions of imperialism, and to support Nicolás Maduro to reach the presidency, in the case he he would be unable to continue fulfilling his duties in that position.
During his speech, held from Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, Chavez informed the country that he would travel to Havana, Cuba, to undergo a new intervention, due to the “presence of some malignant cells in his organism”.
