“With the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card) we have optimized the distribution of national wealth in an efficient and equitable manner. We will continue perfecting the wonderful System of Social Attention for our people”, affirmed this Saturday the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro from his official account in the Twitter social network.
Through the implementation of the Carnet de la Patria, Venezuelans are constantly receiving support from the Revolutionary Government. In January 2017, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, created an identity document called “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card), with the aim of improving the effectiveness of social programs.
Obtaining the document, which has allowed channeling the requirements of the Venezuelan people, is free and voluntary. At the moment of processing the card, a small census is made to know the socio-economic conditions of the applicant.
