Peruvian government promotes xenophobia against the Venezuelan people

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, on Monday accused Peruvian President Martín Vizcarra of being responsible for promoting xenophobia, contempt and violence against Venezuelans in that country.
During a press conference with national and international media, the National President repudiated the violent actions against the nationals, and affirmed that in Venezuela “a wave of xenophobia towards immigrants residing in the country would never be allowed”.
“In Venezuela there are more than 500,000 Peruvians, 500,000 Ecuadorians, six million Colombians, more than one million Arabs, and I as Head of State would never allow anyone to raise a word of xenophobia, discrimination and violence against any community”, he expressed.
In that sense, President Maduro ordered a special transfer plan for all Venezuelans in Peru who are being victims of xenophobia:
“I am willing to make a special plan to give you the ticket, so that you all can return to the Homeland, and enough of that neo-Nazi ideology. Someday in Peru there will raise a consciousness of dignity, we the children of Bolívar and Sucre are the liberators of Peru and deserve freedom, respect, dignity and love; that is what must unite the peoples, solidarity and sharing”, he said.
