During his “Con Maduro de Repente” (Suddenly With Maduro) program, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, highlighted the progress of the applications for Justices of the Peace, a process that will extend until Sunday, November 1st, in order to allow the registration of participants who want to be part of the construction of a New, modern, humanist State of the 21st century.
In this regard, the Minister of People’s Power for Communes, Ángel Prado, added that so far 15,400 people have applied, who are registered for the elections of Justices of the Peace.
The Minister for Communes added that prior to this electoral contest, 5,297 Communal Circuits have already been established, between communes and circuits that will participate in the upcoming elections, so he pointed out that 97% of the circuits and communes have at least one electoral center assigned, while the rest share an electoral center.
It is important to mention that these elections will be held on December 15, 2024, with the aim of reconciling any type of conflict that may arise in the communities, and in this way achieve harmony and stability in them.
In the «Coffee» segment, the head of State said that almost 10,000 Communal Councils that had not participated in the previous consultation processes of community projects have been incorporated, and that by the beginning of 2025 it is expected to have almost 45,000 grassroots Communal Councils participating in the four consultations that will take place next year, to allocate resources to community projects.
In addition to this, the Dignitary explained that after receiving the Memorandum from the National Assembly, which he will review, he will then call on the people of Venezuela so that «the people in a great demonstration, in perfect fusion, popular, military, police, together, will sign the execution, so that this powerful law begins to give its benefits of protecting the peace of Venezuela”.
«With these actions is proposed a great transformation of the State, of the 7T Plan, and in this way end burying the old and antiquated bourgeois State that comes as an inheritance from the colonial, neo-colonial and corrupt rentier State (…) The new has to finish being born on December 15 around what will be the Venezuelan justice system, with a powerful base,» said the President.
