President Maduro met with Bolivarian governors and mayors in Caracas

In the spaces of the Military Circle in Fort Tiuna, the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro held on Monday a meeting with his ministerial team, governors and mayors, a meeting on which were evaluated the advances and plans for strengthening the Local Committees of Supply and Production (CLAP).
At the meeting was also addressed the 100-day Plan of Urban Agriculture and the distribution of income from oil revenues.
The CLAPs constitute the new form of popular organization designed by the executive in order to distribute, house by house, regulated staple products.
These committees were created in order to combat extraction smuggling and to strengthen the supply of foodstuffs. Up to date have been made more than 8,000 CLAPs across the country.
