The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, met this Wednesday with the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer, with the aim of reviewing humanitarian cooperation agreements.
According to information published by the Venezuelan Chancellory on its Twitter account, the meeting was held as part of the 74th General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
In April of this year, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, met Maurer, who confirmed his willingness to establish cooperation mechanisms for international assistance and support.
