Venezuela rejects human rights violations executed by Colombian government

The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Tuesday condemned “human rights violations with impunity executed by the narco-oligarchy ruling Colombia”, while expressing its support for the Colombian people.
In a message posted on the Twitter social network, Venezuelan Chancellor Jorge Arreaza wrote: “The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela supports the people of Colombia and their right to Peace, while condemning human rights violations and massacres of social leaders, indigenous and ex-combatants, executed with impunity by the ruling narco-oligarchy of that country”.
Arreaza’s statements responded to the publication of his Colombian counterpart, Carlos Holmes Trujillo, where he expresses his resounding support for the National Assembly of Venezuela, an instance that is in contempt and with legal nullity, and its deputies. Also, Holmes Trujillo rejected the advancement of parliamentary elections.
This Monday, the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) appointed a commission that will evaluate the date for the next parliamentary elections.
