“Imperialism hurts Venezuela so much because they are desperate, irritated. They have failed and they will continue to fail because they do not understand that the Bolivarian Revolution is a force of truth, with legitimacy, leadership and a project of our own, we are not a product of marketing”.
This was stated by the head of State and Government, Nicolás Maduro Moros, when referring to the government of Donald Trump and the executive order signed last Monday to freeze all the assets of Venezuela in the United States: “In the north they don’t understand the vigorous democracy that emanates from the Venezuelan people”, he said.
“We must highlight the legitimate, democratic and deeply popular character of the leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution at all levels, let them in Washington know this!”
The President indicated that while from the United States he is cataloged as a dictator, in Venezuela are being given spaces of prominence to the people:
“Never before had been taken into account the will, thought and life of the entire Venezuelan people; the – Bolivarian – Revolution came to take everyone into account, to put them at the forefront of social prominence”.
The information was granted by President Maduro from the Ezequiel Zamora Park, – El Calvario -, in the city of Caracas, during the celebration of the International Day of Indigenous Peoples.
