Julio Chavez: There can be no impunity against the electoral fraud of the opposition

“There must be a decision of the Supreme Court against the gigantic fraud committed by the opposition, with the collection of one percent of the signatures to activate the process of the presidential recall referendum.”
The statement was made by Deputy Julio Chavez, during an interview on Thursday on the private channel Televen, in which he stressed that there can be no impunity for the 600,000 irregular signatures that were detected and more than 10,000 dead and disabled people who appeared signing in the first step to activate the recall referendum.
“Responsibilities must be determined, because this illegal fact is not a simple thing, the opposition has to answer to his followers and to the country for such serious crimes,” said the parliamentarian.
According to Chavez, Venezuelans are in the presence of an irresponsible opposition that did not speak it clear to its followers, and therefore must come from the Supreme Justice Court a decision that (effectively) makes justice.
“The National Government is not denying at all the possibility of a referendum, but it should be given when appropriate, and when the conditions and terms established by the law are met,” he said.
