The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights will visit Venezuela next June 19


The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Michelle Bachelet, will visit Venezuela on Wednesday, June 19, in response to the invitation extended by the Bolivarian Government.
Bachelet will be in Venezuela until Friday, June 21 and will hold a series of meetings with the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and with members of the executive team.
The agenda will be completed with official meetings with the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Maikel Moreno; the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab and the Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruiz, as detailed the United Nations Organization (UN) through a statement released in its account on the Twitter social network.
Bachelet will also talk with the president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Diosdado Cabello, as well as the deputy of the National Assembly (AN) in contempt, Juan Guaidó, and a group of right-wing parliamentarians.
In addition, she will meet with union representatives, university authorities, religious leaders, among others.
After her official visit is over, Michelle Bachelet is expected to offer a final declaration corresponding to her experience in Venezuelan territory.
