The country’s health authorities have reported 933 new infections by Covid-19, of which 898 cases are of community transmission and 35 cases are imported, which brings the total figures to 42,898 cases since the start of the pandemic in mid-March, as reported the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez.
Regarding the imported cases, she referred on her Twitter account that 31 cases entered from Colombia, and 4 from Brazil.
On the national cases, he indicated that the Capital District once again registered the highest number in the country, with 233 cases, followed by Miranda state (144) and Apure (67). While Aragua and Carabobo states counted 65 and 63 cases respectively.
The parishes of the Capital City most affected by the virus, as she explained, are El Paraíso with 35, El Valle (18) and San Juan (16); while Sucre -Catia- (15), and Altagracia and San Pedro reported 14 cases each.
The outbreak that caused the disease has left seven new deaths on this latest journey, which puts the country on 358 deaths.
