Venezuela will respond to false accusations from the US

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, authorized on Friday the ministers for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, and of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace; Néstor Reverol, to respond to the false accusations declared by the government of the United States (USA), against the South American nation.

Earlier, from the US Southern Command, both the US Secretary of Defense and the American nation’s National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien; pointed out that Venezuela “is a narco-state led by a corrupt and illegitimate regime”, explained the head of state, from the Court of Honor of the Ministry of People’s Power for Defense in Fort Tiuna, in Caracas.

“The United States does not cease its attempts to attack Venezuela, this Friday in the South Florida Command there was an act of electoral campaign, where they launched accusations against morality and Venezuelan institutions, listening to the statements I see these are pure lies” , stressed the national president.

He stated that these indications are part of a script they manage, “just as they did against Vietnam, in Iraq, everything was a great farce, now they repeat lies against Venezuela, they are desperate for votes, Donald Trump makes his campaign act and he speaks of Venezuela out of desperation”.

The Venezuelan president assured that the nation continues firm and with high morale, in the face of new defamation.

“Let the truth of Venezuela be known, the FANB has a clear, iron-clad solid doctrine, made by Venezuelans, it has a strategic concept, it has men and women who defend the territory”, he said.

During the event on the occasion of the Transmission of Command of the Commanders of the Components Bolivarian Army, Bolivarian Navy and Bolivarian Military Aviation, he stressed that the country is on alert to each plan and each imperial threat.

“We are active in every situation in the institutional life of strengthening morale, for this reason, we are planning new military exercises in a pandemic, to continue training all our troops and the Bolivarian National Militia, in the permanent exercise of the defense of the nation”, he concluded.

In this regard, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza; had earlier emphasized than the statements, both by the US Secretary of Defense and by the American nation’s National Security Advisor, Robert O’Brien; seek to raise slanders against the country and promote the reelection of the current president, Donald Trump.

Both US officials pointed out that Venezuela “is a narco-state led by a corrupt and illegitimate regime.”

The Venezuelan diplomat described as “broken record” the position taken by the US against Venezuela.
