Chancellor Arreaza affirms that only with dialogue will be achieved positive changes in Venezuela

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, said that only through dialogue will be made advances to resolve the situation in the country, and that this has been reflected in Norway, a case on which he did not offer more details, but stressed that only good news are arising from this meeting.
In an interview on Friday by the international TV station TeleSur, the diplomat expressed his gratitude to the Government of Norway for the support they have given to keep the peace in Venezuela.
In his speech, Arreaza stressed that since the first day President Nicolás Maduro has had the willingness to dialogue: “Here are the open hands of Venezuela to work, let’s return to respect international law and the Latin American identity of our region”, he said.
As for the condition of the building of the US embassy in Caracas, the minister said that yesterday its protection was reinforced, to prevent that, for some reason or another, that building may suffer any aggression.
He also said that the activists who were guarding the Venezuelan Embassy in the US, who were peaceful people, were besieged by the United States government.
On the other hand he made reference to the relationship between the National Government and the Colombian one, assuring that: “We exhausted all instances with Colombia to establish a dialogue regarding the situation on the border, but they do not want to, they bet on the coup d’etat”.
When asked about the country’s relationship with the Republic of Brazil, he stressed that there was good communication with the Brazilian Armed Forces, assuring that they would never violate Venezuela:
“We have a Constitution that we have to protect, here is the democratic and peaceful path for Venezuela. Here there are no doors for invasions, what there is is understanding and dialogue”, concluded Arreaza.
