Despite the electric war, 80% of students return to school


The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, emphasized on Thursday that despite the sabotage of the National Electric System, 80% of the students from all over the country returned to the classrooms in peace:
“Despite the brutal electric war, more than 8.2 million children and young people began with joy and enthusiasm their school activities in 30,000 schools, which represent 80% of the educational institutions in the country. Back to School in Loving Resistance!”, He said.
In this context, the Minister of People’s Power for Education, Aristóbulo Istúriz, said that “after having suffered the impact of the terrorist action on public services, it was made a readjustment of the school calendar in order to successfully finish it”.
Likewise, he explained that since this Wednesday, when classes resumed, 25,000 public schools and more than 5,000 private schools opened their doors to children and young students.
