It should be noted that last Wednesday, the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, pointed out that the bases of the red party are going to a process of street, community and UBCH assemblies for the election of their candidate, heading to the presidential elections on July 28.

He assured that, “this process will begin on March 7, and it is planned that assemblies will be held in the 269,069 streets throughout the country. Later, on March 8, these same assemblies will be held in 46,638 communities.”

After this process, the community heads, once, with the minutes of the consensus results, must go to the assemblies convened by their UBCH. These minutes will finally reach the hands of the state political liaisons and the national leadership of the PSUV for evaluation:

Only the United Socialist Party of Venezuela can do this, forgive me the rest of the parties, but here all the militancy of our party will participate to make a historic decision,” said Cabello.
