COVID: 1,160 new cases and 20 deaths reported by Venezuela in the last 24 hours

394 days after the start of the pandemic, Venezuela registers 1,156 new national infections by Covid-19, 4 international cases, 2 coming from the Dominican Republic, 1 from Panama and 1 from Peru, for a total of 1,160 cases.

In the last 24 hours, 240 cases were reported by Yaracuy state, 173 Falcón, 158 Caracas, 142 La Guaira and 129 by Miranda state. Unfortunately, 20 Venezuelans died, for which the people are urged to redouble biosafety measures.

This Tuesday, April 13, 2020, Venezuela reaches 176,972 confirmed cases, 159,547 recovered, 15,610 active, 15,194 treated within the Public Health System and 416 in clinics.

5,876 people are asymptomatic, 8,927 have mild acute respiratory failure, 542 moderate acute respiratory failure and 265 are in intensive care units.
