Threats to Venezuela by the US undermine the US founding charter

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, described the United States National Security Advisor, John Robert Bolton, as an extremist warmonger due to his consecutive statements of threats against Venezuela:
“Given the subordination and obedience of the Venezuelan right wing to their orders and interests, the US government feels that they govern Venezuela, and on Twitter the aforementioned official has called for a military uprising to overthrow the legitimate and constitutional government of Venezuela”, denounced president Maduro.
He added that talking about war in the 21st century is madness, and reiterated that Venezuela has men and women who in any circumstance would step forward to face the warlike and inhuman pretensions that violate international law:
“We love peace,” said the President, while recalling that in 2014 in Havana, Latin America and the Caribbean were declared as a territory of peace, but he clarified that Venezuelans “are not afraid of your threats, mr. Donald Trump”.
Venezuela is on the right side of history, and the United States has no reason to threaten a free and peaceful people as the Venezuelan, said Maduro during a meeting with intellectuals from all around the world who reject US interference, developed in the Yellow House of the city of Caracas this Monday.
