The Minister of People’s Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Néstor Reverol, reported on the dismantling of the terrorist group commanded by Julio Borges:
«It has been dismantled a group of terrorists under the name of «Operation Constitution» commanded by Julio Borges, under the nickname «Quinto» (…) the security corps of the State are called to maintain the peace of the country».
From the main headquarters of the ministry, he explained that there were no doubts about the CIA’s participation in the attempted assassination attempt against President Nicolás Maduro, while at the same time he announced that during the operation were seized several weapons, and was made the arrest of several ex-military who deserted and who have a criminal record.
Among those captured are: Miguel Ambrosio Palacio Salcedo (captured in Valles del Tuy) who had the mission to provide logistics and recruitment to carry out selective killings, were also captured Alberto José Salazar a.k.a. «Pancho» and Oswaldo Valentín García Palomo a.k.a. «Aquiles», members of this terrorist group.
