“There is a media coup d’état underway against Venezuela”, as stated by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, who revealed that Venezuela is amidst a coup d’état”, confronting it and dismantling it, a coup d’etat that is directed by the government of the United States (the USA) with allies in the western world”, he stressed.
From Miraflores Palace, in the framework of a press conference with national and international media, the Head of State explained that in Venezuela “We are facing, dismantling and we are going to defeat a coup d’état that intends to intervene in political life, to put aside the sovereignty of Venezuela and establish a regime protected by the interests of the US empire and its allies in the Western world”.
He accused that in the international media is not published the truth of what is happening in the country: “There is a huge campaign of misinformation and manipulation against Venezuela once again. There is an international media coup! (…) “One sees the television stations presenting only one side of the Venezuelan situation. For these media, the revolutionary and Chavista forces are invisible. We are invisibly victorious!” He denounced.
Finally he detailed “We are living a stellar moment of struggle for the sovereignty and independence of Venezuela (…) We are going to make sure that peace prevails. We are going to defeat them!”
