President Maduro expresses solidarity with Cuba after explosion of the Saratoga hotel

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed this Friday his solidarity with Cuba, after the explosion at the Saratoga hotel in Havana. In a message through his account on the Twitter social network, he indicated his accompaniment to the Cuban people and government for the event that so far, according to the island’s authorities, has left nine deceased people:

I express my solidarity with the Cuban people and with President Miguel Díaz-Canel for the unfortunate accident that occurred at the Hotel Saratoga, in Havana. Our hug to the families of the victims, we wish the speedy recovery of the injured. Have strength, Cuba, We are with you!”, expressed the National President.

The accident occurred due to the explosion of a gas tank that caused part of the hotel facility to collapse, with the aforementioned result, to which 40 injured have been added so far, while the Cuban authorities are deployed in the place attending to the situation, after transferring the injured to nearby hospitals.
