Maduro denounces new coup d'etat plan in Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced a new plan to give a coup d’etat against his Government, by the Lima Group and the United States.
From Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, at a press conference with international media, he noted that “the international right wing, headed by the United States (USA) government, turned the swearing-in (of the president) of a democratic country into a world war” with the purpose of destabilizing the South American nation.
“What we have seen is unparalleled. The extremist forces against Venezuela have been unleashed with the aim of destabilizing our country, of filling it with violence, with confusion, with chaos, in order to put their hands on the riches of Venezuela and turn the course of the history of our country”, he said.
He congratulated the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) for the document they approved yesterday, which rejects the declaration of a group of Latin American countries, subordinated by the United States, calling themselves the Lima Group, which attempts against Venezuela, its democracy and sovereignty.
