The UN will be demanded to acknowledge migratory figures reported by the Venezuelan State

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said on Monday that Venezuela will demand the United Nations (UN) to acknowledge the migratory figures reported by the State:

«We have demanded the UN to work with the official figures provided by the Venezuelan State. There are the only ones we will acknowledge», said Rodriguez from the Military University of Venezuela, in Caracas, during the opening of the 2018-2019 pedagogical year.

She said that the most immoral Government in the region is that of Colombia, denouncing an alleged humanitarian crisis for migratory reasons in Venezuela:

«Since the signing of the peace agreements in Colombia, 394 social leaders have been killed and the number of people displaced by violence and armed conflict has increased to 200,000 people», she said.

She stressed that the Bolivarian Socialist model, promoted 19 years ago by the commander Hugo Chávez, has as a fundamental pillar the respect and guarantees for Human Rights.
