During the closing of the Extraordinary Plenary of the Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV), the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced that the base assemblies will be activated for February 22 and 23, 2025, to nominate the candidates who will participate in the elections on April 27.
In this sense, the head of State placed great emphasis on the strengthening of the Great Bolivarian and Chavista Historical Block, as well as the organization of the country’s democratic processes:
“There is no force that has more ideological, cultural and organizational capacity for democratic processes than the PSUV. We are the decisive force of this historical time, the guiding force of the Revolution and we must become even more of an efficient party for Venezuela,» said the President, referring to the power of the revolutionary forces existing in the people.
Along these lines, he said that in these times the current cause, the Revolution, is very important, and therefore he urged the superior and qualitative development of the PSUV doctrine, which must be as the Commander dreamed, a great sociopolitical, cultural force, with ethical and moral transformative bases.
In addition to this, the President of the Nation highlighted the power of national identity and Christian humanism, as well as that of authentic Bolivarianism and Socialism of the 21st Century.
Finally, he pointed out that the people of Venezuela is part of a socialism with deep roots in the history of the Homeland, and with the capacity to transform and strengthen the revolutionary process, in the victorious battle that the country is experiencing.
