Shlomo Moshe Amar Shelita arrived in Venezuela to meet President Maduro

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting on Sunday with Shlomo Moshe Amar Shelita, with the aim of strengthening the diplomacy of peace promoted by the National Government.

Shlomo Amar held the post of Sephardic Chief Rabbi of the State of Israel between 2003 and 2013. It is important to note that during the meeting the Head of State imposed the Liberator Men and Women Order in its second class to Isaac Cohen, Chief Rabbi of the Israelite Association, for his 40 years in Venezuela.

The meeting was held at the Government Palace, in Caracas, and was attended by the first combatant woman, Cilia Flores, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, the Vice President for Communications, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, and the Minister of People’s Power of the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, Jorge Márquez, among other authorities of the National Executive.

Before ending the meeting where bonds of friendship were strengthened. Shlomo Moshe Amar Shelita gave the blessings to President Maduro.
