“New Beginning” Cabinet is characterized by the presence of technicians, women and young people

The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, announced on Thursday through his account on the Twitter social network, the renewal of the ministerial train for a “new beginning”, which is characterized by the presence of technicians, women and young people.

Delcy Rodríguez, who was the Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), is the new Executive Vice President of the Republic.
Tareck El Aissami, who served as Vice President of the Republic, assumes the leadership of the Sectoral Vice-Presidency for the Economic Area. In addition, the Ministry of Industries and National Production will assume a new office created by instruction of the Venezuelan President.

Also, the Head of State also reported that Dante Rivas is the new Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, while Yomana Koteich will lead the Ministry for Foreign Trade and International Investment.

In another message, it was known that Mayerlin Arias was appointed as Minister for Urban Agriculture; Stella Lugo, former Governor of Falcón state and current Head of the Miranda Insular Territory, will head the Ministry for Tourism.

Marleny Contreras, who served as Minister for Tourism, was appointed as head of the People’s Power Ministry for Public Works.

On the other hand, Hipólito Abreu comes to assume the new Minister for Transportation; while Eduardo Piñate, who served as a member of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), is from this Thursday the Minister for the Social Process of Work.

As part of the renewal of the ministerial cabinet, Caryl Bertho was appointed as Minister for Women and Gender Equality; Heryck Rangel is the new Minister for Eco-socialism, and finally, Evelyn Vásquez will lead the Ministry for Water Care, a new office created by decision of the President of the Republic.

It should be noted that of the 12 new nominations of heads of ministries, seven of these offices will be headed by women.

Lastly, he thanked those who left the cabinet for their effort and work during the period that they had to perform their duties.
