Maduro: An agreement is imminent between OPEC countries to stabilize the oil market

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Wednesday the work of the oil minister, Eulogio Del Pino, to promote a consensus among the oil-producing countries, to agree on joint actions aimed at stabilizing the hydrocarbons market .
He said that the work of Del Pino has allowed “to pave the way for an eminent agreement of OPEC countries, to freeze production in order to stabilize the market and recover oil prices.”
“I have given orders to Eulogio del Pino, to go to Moscow and concrete the agreement with Russia, non-OPEC countries and the OPEC,” he reported from the outskirts of the Miraflores Palace, where he held a meeting with the labor force of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) to evaluate the development of the Socialist Strategic Plan 2016-2025 of the state-owned company.
