More than 10,000 Venezuelans were certified through Mission Culture

A total of 10,794 members of the Mission Culture Foundation graduated this Wednesday with the task of fighting for decolonization, raise awareness, culture and national integration, as informed the Minister for Culture, Ernesto Villegas.

During the act for the delivery of certificates of the Cuba-Venezuela Integral Cooperation Agreement, Villegas detailed that out of the total of graduates, 2,850 are graduates of the course of artistic direction, 2,729 graduates in cultural promotion and programming, 3,109 graduates of the management course of the socio-cultural processes, and 2.109 of the management diploma of the socio-cultural processes.

“There are a total of 10,794 people in Venezuela who go to the battle for the decolonization of consciences, for their right to identity, national integrity and peace in Venezuela”, he said.

The website of the Presidential Press reported that the Cuba-Venezuela agreement, signed on October 30, 2000 by Commanders Hugo Chávez and Fidel Castro, covers social, health, education, culture, sports, technology areas, among others.

It is important to highlight that these agreements have allowed to address the most vulnerable families of the nation, through social missions, among which Barrio Adentro and the Robinson, Ribas and Sucre educational missions stand out; with the purpose of guaranteeing the fundamental rights of the peoples.
