The National Health System has 12,000 integral community doctors


Delcy Rodríguez, Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, said this Thursday that the National Health System has 12,000 integral community doctors thanks to the Cuba-Venezuela cooperation.
“It is an important advance, these doctors jumped their borders to bring health to the world; While other countries bring destruction, suffering, violence and death, there are two peoples working here to give happiness to other peoples”, said Rodríguez during the 17th Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Integral Cuba-Venezuela Cooperation Agreement, held in Caracas.
In this sense, she added that the Cuban health system has been a banner of the Revolution that is irrefutable and acknowledged around the world.
“For 2017 we hope that we can reach 100% of the Barrio Adentro mission throughout the whole national territory,” said the Chancellor.
Likewise, she indicated that has also been advancing progressively with Cuba regarding the sports and agro-productive agreements, and that Venezuela has proposed to this brotherly people their participation in the development of productive engines for the strengthening of the economy.
