Electric Coup tries to bring the country to a state of desperation and violence

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed to the Venezuelan people his firm decision to defend peace in the country, in the face of imperialist attacks on the National Electric System, which seek to cause despair and violence.
In a joint radio and television broadcast, he said that those behind the plan to destabilize have a single goal: To burn the country, and through the combustion of Venezuela to reach political power for their ambitions:
«Those who have tried to bring violence must be condemned by the people (…) violence is the most perverse damage there can be, solidarity must prevail, permanent support and popular organization», he stressed.
He sentenced that the groups that try to bring the country into a situation of confrontation between Venezuelans will be condemned by the people.
