Venezuela is home to the Encounter of Critical Decolonial Thought

During the meeting, the Minister for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, highlighted that Venezuela has hosted this meeting for three consecutive years, which have been characterized by relevant, deep and free journeys of debate and reflection:

“The deliberations continue and it is not by chance that it develops here in Venezuela, amidst the fascist outbreak registered in the continent and the world, Venezuela is ratified as a bastion of the struggle for decolonization, emancipation and for the construction of a different society, one that is superior to savage capitalism, to modernity and coloniality”, highlighted Villegas.
