Public Ministry investigates suicide of Fernando Albán implicated in magnicide in degree of frustration

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported this Monday on the suicide of citizen Fernando Albán Salazar, who was being investigated for allegedly being involved in the act of magnification in degree of frustration against the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In a telephone statement, the senior official explained that his office appointed two prosecutors with competence in Human Rights and Tax Crimes in order to clarify the entire judicial and legal event.

Saab explained that the death of citizen Salazar occurred at the time he was going to be transferred to a court, being in the waiting room of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), he requested to go to the toilet and from there he threw himself from the tenth floor of the building.

For his part, the Minister for Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace, Néstor Reverol, stressed that the person involved was detained in the SEBIN since last October 5, for the investigation of the frustrated assassination and for being involved in destabilizing acts directed from abroad.
