The head of State and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, proposed the creation of the Great Nation agenda of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), for the making of decisions.

“I propose on the priority agenda (…) that the Chancellors present them to us every fifteen days and interact to make decisions on the great nation agenda of ALBA to meet the needs of the people of Latin America and the Caribbean, he said.

An initiative that “is part of a stage of refreshment, hope, and expansion of ALBA,” he assured when evaluating socio-political aspects of the member country.

He also highlighted the importance of the reactivation of Petrocaribe in order to promote integration and support for sister nations.

“We must work to specify the entire health and education policy, the re-impulse of Petrocaribe, the support for all our peoples, assuming it as part of an agenda for the Great Nation.”

On the other hand, he stressed that the ALBA-TCP must also draw up new communication strategies to confront the different matrices of opinion and discredit created by neo-colonial interests against progressive countries of the region.

“The communicational ALBA must be retaken, but with a spirit of battle (…) Because the attack is every day, it is a battle for the truth of ALBA-TCP, of our people,” he exhorted.
