President Maduro delivered health and education works in Caracas, Yaracuy, Mérida and Guayana Essequiba

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the efficiency of the Military Community Education and Health Brigades (Bricomiles), in completely restoring educational and health infrastructure throughout the country.

The head of state handed over the Mariano Picón Salas UEN (National Educational Unit), located in Petare, Sucre municipality of Miranda state, fully recovered in its facilities in a comprehensive rehabilitation process carried out by the Bricomiles and provision of the educational unit that houses 2,000 students who make life from preschool, primary and secondary education.

He explained that the rehabilitation of the “Mariano Picón Salas” Educational Complex materialized from a report submitted by the communities to the 1X10 of Good Government:

When the 1X10 report arrived, I saw that things were ugly, and I said, well, we have to make thorough arrangements, we have to invest, we have to struggle, this is a mission for the Military Community Education Brigades. Today I can say (…) mission accomplished, and here I give it to you so that you can take care of it,” he said.

Among the repairs carried out, the following stand out: classrooms, computer room, bathrooms, laboratory, recreation areas, sports fields, electrical and painting work was also carried out.
