Venezuela will not abide by the ICJ decision on Guayana Esequiba

Venezuela does not accept judicial colonialism from anyone, much less at this moment when all of humanity is questioning the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, all of these organizations are against the wall, exhausted; We are witnessing a genocide broadcast live on social media and what are they doing? Nothing, they turn a blind eye, they are indirect accomplices of a genocide,” said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the “Zona Digital” segment of the 36th edition of the “Con Maduro+” program.

It is important to remember that the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, in recent days described the ICC decision as a politicization strategy against Venezuela, after this instance rejected the arguments of the Bolivarian nation against the resumption of the investigation into the alleged commission of crimes against humanity.

In his statements, Rodríguez highlighted that this is a politicized case in which international justice is intended to be instrumentalized to attack Venezuela, as well as its high authorities, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the security organizations that have been on the front line to defend the peace and tranquility of the people.

In this sense, President Maduro reiterated that Venezuela is a free country and will not accept being governed by any organization. He added that a decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) would definitively stop the Israeli bombing of the people of Gaza.

However, he emphasized that this body maintains silence in the face of the genocide in Gaza, “because it is in the hands of the global empire of the West, of the United States and Europe, that is the truth, it must be said, Venezuela has its own voice and no one is going to shut us up.”
