Orange Alert continues in phase two on the border with Colombia

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Monday the activation in its phase two of the orange alert on the border with Colombia, in order to ensure that violent and paramilitary groups, coming from the neo-Granadean nation, could not enter the country.
During the balance of the “Sovereignty and Peace 2019” military exercises, the head of state urged the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to protect the Venezuelan territory against any attack that attempts to break the peace and the free development of the Venezuelan men and women.
He said that, given the false positives that the Colombian oligarchy has tried to materialize, the FANB remains cohesive as the backbone of the stability of the nation and the welfare of the people.
