JVR: Maduro’s economic initiatives claim the authority of the State

The economic initiatives taken by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, on Wednesday, July 25, claim the authority of the State and determine the position of the National Government in fully taking on the economic situation of the country, said the renowned journalist and analyst, José Vicente Rangel:

“President Nicolás Maduro’s message was impressive, once again demonstrating his capacity as a conductor and the willingness to assume clear positions”, he said during his Sunday program, “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today), broadcast by Televen.

He added that the results of these initiatives will be positive and will begin to happen immediately.

Among the measures there is the reduction of five zeros to the current monetary cone and the entry into force of the monetary reconversion scheduled for August 20, also, the anchoring of the Sovereign Bolivar to the Petro Cryptocurrency.

Also, the Head of State announced on July 25 that the National Government made available to the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) the Ayacucho-2 Block of the Orinoco Oil Strip, with the aim of strengthening and expanding the international reserves of the national territory.

He also asked to exonerate all taxes for a year to those who bring capital goods, raw materials, supplies and agro-supplies to Venezuela.

He raised before the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) the constitutional project on exchange illicits with the objective of promoting investments in foreign currencies.

He also signed a decree to immediately activate the Census of National Transport in all its modalities.
