President Maduro welcomed UN High Commissioner Michelle Bachelet


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed on Wednesday the High Commissioner of the United Nations (UN), Michelle Bachelet, who arrived in Venezuela, to establish new cooperation mechanisms and strengthen the Policies on Human Rights.
From the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, where the Head of State was meeting with young people from the Misión Chamba Juvenil Productiva (Productive Youth Job Mission) on the occasion of his second anniversary, he welcomed the High Commissioner, after the invitation that he himself had made her to feel the reality of the country.
The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, began a visit to Venezuela on Wednesday to feel the situation of the country, which deepens in the heat of the power struggle and US sanctions.
Bachelet arrived at the Maiquetía airport in the afternoon hours, as reported the United Nations news service on Twitter.
