The past May 26 was the release of US citizen Josh Holt and his wife the Venezuelan Tamara Caleño, accused of espionage and violence, at the request of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
Holt’s mother, Laurie Holt, thanked the Venezuelan Head of State for the release of her son, who, as she assured, is in good health.
This action is part of the efforts of the Bolivarian Government to maintain a respectful dialogue with the administration of Donald Trump, said the Minister for Communication and Information, Jorge Rodríguez, at a press conference held from Miraflores Palace.
The release of Holt and Caleño takes place thanks to a measure of full freedom benefit issued by the Judiciary Power, after evaluating a request made by the Commission for Truth, Justice, Peace and Public Peace of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).
