May 20 represents a victory for the people’s power that went massively to the voting centers to impose itself in a peaceful way, once again, before the agenda of violence that from the North American empire with the support of counterrevolutionary sectors was intended to activate in the country, as stated by the general secretary of the PCV in Carabobo, Jesús Aguirre.
“We are fighting against the great American and European empire that is trying to put the claws on our country”, said Aguirre, who also added that these presidential and legislative council elections are an example of Venezuela’s anti-imperialist struggle.
Aguirre congratulated all the people who rose early in the different municipalities of the central entity to fulfill their democratic duty.
