Venezuela is a territory with 100% of pensioned elders

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, informed on Tuesday that with the approval of 275,110 new pensions through the “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card) system, was 100% senior pensioners were reached.

“With these 275,110 pensions we would reach, between February, March and April, to 735,182 pensions, with which we will declare achieved the goal of 100% pensioners in Venezuela, we met the goal”, he said during a work journey at Miraflores Palace.

The National Leader stressed that a total of 4,095,023 elder adults receive their pension thanks to the social protection system created by the Bolivarian Government with the “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card) system.

The Vice President of the Republic, Tarek El Aissami, explained that people who have just received the notification can access the www.patria.org.ve website and accept the payment that will be deposited from today. He explained that the payments to the new pensioners will be made this way during the following three months, until they formally transmit the necessary documents before the social security entity.

“Meanwhile, the protection system of the Carnet de la Patria is going to guarantee every month the payment of their pension through the VeMonedero (electronic) application”, he said.

The Head of State called the “Somos Venezuela” (We all are Venezuela) movement to continue touring the country to attract older adults who have not yet been incorporated into the social protection system promoted by the Bolivarian Government.
