COVID: Venezuela registered 561 domestic and 8 imported cases this Thursday

This Thursday, the Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez, informed that 312 days after the pandemic in Venezuela, during the last 24 hours the country registered 569 new Covid-19 infections, 561 of community transmission and 8 imported cases.

This was announced through its official account on the Twitter social network: “Up to today 2,532,669 tests have been performed. This represents 84,422 tests per million inhabitants”, highlighted the Minister for Communications of the Bolivarian Government.

Freddy Ñánez also added that 3,522 patients are asymptomatic, 2,832 with mild Acute Respiratory Insufficiency, 373 with Moderate Acute Respiratory Insufficiency and 105 in the Intensive Care Unit.

Finally, Ñáñez pointed out that unfortunately 7 deaths were registered today: a 42 years old woman and a 69 years old man from Táchira state, a 67 years old manfrom Carabobo, a 54 years old woman from Zulia, a 65 years old man from Miranda, a 17 years old woman from Anzoátegui, and a 74 years old man from Yaracuy. “Condolences to their families and loved ones,” highlighted the Minister.
