ANC approves agreement in support of Luiz Inácio “Lula” Da Silva

The Constitutional National Assembly (ANC) approved on Thursday a Constituent Agreement in Solidarity with the democratic struggle of the Brazilian people and in support of the Brazilian leader Luiz Inácio “Lula” Da Silva.

The proposal of the agreement was made by the President of the Committee of Workers of the plenipotentiary body, Francisco Torrealba.

“From our condition as workers and patriots and from this magnificent plenipotentiary National Constituent Assembly we raise our voice to ask you to approve a solidarity agreement with Brazil”, he said.

The Venezuelan people represented by the ANC: “We tell the people of Brazil that they have our solidarity”, he added.

During the session, the vice president of the ANC, Tania Diaz, stressed that the imprisonment of Lula is a “trick” to get him out of the presidential elections in Brazil, to be held in October of this year.
