The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, indicated on Wednesday that the self-appointed Board of Unity (MUD), which groups together an opposition sector, decided to sink into its contradictions and hatred after deciding not to participate in the presidential elections. and thus reject the democratic way.
“Venezuela wants peace, we are going to peace, we are going to the elections with the MUD or without them”, said the National Peader during his proclamation as a candidate of the Patria Para Todos (Homeland for All – PPT) party.
He assured that the opponent Henry Ramos Allup, obeyed imperialist orders not to participate in the presidential elections.
“Ramos Allup is throwing over the edge of history that political patrimony that the leaders of Acción Democrática have, to kneel down to the Patricians who once again impose their extremist policy on the Venezuelan opposition”, he said.
He stressed that Venezuela does not want extremes, nor violence, nor coups d’ etat: “Venezuela wants elections and we will have them.”
