Maduro urged the revolutionary forces to maintain unity against imperial attacks

The president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Nicolás Maduro, said on Monday that he convened the Party’s Congress to respond to the Venezuelan people and set goals for the future:

“Today I convened a congress to give answers to the country, not to look at our navels ourselves, not to change statutes; I summoned it to tell the Fatherland we are going towards socialism, to solve and give solutions to the problems. Let’s never again return to the old practice of looking at our navels”, he said on a broadcast by VTV.

In the activity, the national leader also urged the revolutionary forces to maintain unity before the attacks of imperial axes, which threaten the stability and peace of the Homeland.

“The union is the first thing that should be consolidated, taken care of and fostered; the more responsibility you have, the more responsibility you have to foster the union and not allow a single fissure”, he said.

The ANC represents the victory of the people:

The National Leader recalled the great victory of the Venezuelan people in the face of violence with the election of the members of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), in which participated more than eight million Venezuelans.

“July 30 was a great victory for the people and peace came with the Constituent, and the PSUV in front of it”, he said.
