President Maduro: I will fulfill the agreement in all its parts

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, indicated on Wednesday that the dialogue with the Venezuelan opposition continues, despite the refusal of the right wing to sign the agreement for the coexistence resulting from the table of talks between both parties.

«Here I have the agreement of the Dominican Republic, the agreement endorsed by President Danilo Medina and the former President (José Luis Rodríguez) Zapatero, the agreement signed yesterday by our delegation, and I gave the order to Minister Jorge Rodríguez to publish it immediately and I am going to sign the agreement, will endorse this agreement with my signature, and I will fulfill it in all its parts», said the President in statements to the press.

He reported that the head of the opposition delegation, Julio Borges, was pressured by international agents not to sign the final agreement.

«Julio Borges received a call from Bogotá yesterday and they spoke in English to him, at four o’clock in Santo Domingo, and he gathered the opposition delegation that was ready to sign and he told them: «We are not going to sign», he said.

He called on the opposition to reflect, to sign the agreement of peace and coexistence that Venezuela needs. «I wish there was a miracle that the opposition supports their word for once, I will leave the dialogue open, I am willing to continue talking with the Venezuelan opposition on the day they are willing, and the day they start thinking with their own heads and start thinking about Venezuela, because they only think about their own economic interests», he emphasized.
