The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, addressed the country on Wednesday, November 1, in the framework of the 295 Council of Ministers, held at Miraflores Palace.
During his speech, the National President made different announcements framed in the social protection of the Venezuelan people, regarding the beginning of the Christmas holidays.
Following, know the announcements made by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro:
– Increase of 30% of the minimum wage and of the other salary tables of public administration workers. In this way, the monthly minimum wage goes from 136,544 to 177,507.44 bolivars.
– This increase will have an influence on the payment of bonuses.
– Socialist alimentation ticket increases 10 points on its calculation base, from 21 to 31 Tax Units (UT), so the food bonus goes from 189,000 to 279,000 bolivars, starting this November.
– In Venezuela, the minimum integral income amounts to 456,507.44 bolivars per month, with the increase in the minimum wage and the alimentation bonus.
– Pensions also increase. The basic pension and the economic war bonus are now located at 177,507.4 and 53,252.2 bolivars, respectively, and total an income of 230,759.6 bolivars.
– The special Christmas bonus of 500,000 bolivars was created, which will be assigned to 4 million Venezuelan families enrolled in the “Carnet de la Patria” (Homeland Card) system.
– Allocation of the “Hogares de la Patria” (Homes of the Homeland), which reaches 1,200,000 Venezuelan families, goes from 140,000 to 190,000 bolivars per month.
– Monthly payment of young people from the “Chamba Juvenil” (Youth Job) program also goes from 140,000 to 190,000 bolivars.
– 16 million toys will be delivered from December 1 to children in the country as part of the Plan Niño Jesus (Baby Jesus Plan), through the Local Committees for Supply and Production (CLAP).
– The CLAPs will deliver at the end of November the Christmas combo that contains the necessary ingredients to make the Hallaca, a typical dish during the holiday season.
– As of November 15, the Christmas Pork meat will be distributed to Venezuelan homes.
– As of this week, the new 100,000 bolivars bill will come into circulation to complete the process of broadening the Venezuelan monetary cone.
