Social and citizen security comprise the last vertices of the Great Mission Hugo Chávez

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, announced the last three vertices of the Great Mission “Equality and Social Justice Hugo Chávez”, and announced that they will work to address the human and personal needs of the people, as well as care for the older adults and an integral citizen security plan throughout the national territory.

As part of the eighth vertex, he announced that three plans will be created that have to do with the distribution of shoes through Plan Z, distribution of clothing as part of what he called Plan R, and a plan C which has to distribute mattresses for the most vulnerable households in the country.

In this sense, the head of state specified that 6.2 million shoes will be distributed in all communities, 6.2 million clothing kits through a textile plan and more than one million mattresses through plan C.

Regarding the ninth vertex, President Maduro said that he will personally be in charge of taking care of everything that has to do with the social security of the grandfathers and grandmothers of the country. In this sense, he stated that the Ministry of People’s Power for the Office of the Presidency will be the governing entity to enforce the works that have to do with the construction of 335 houses for grandparents or shelters in the 335 municipalities of the country.

Likewise, he requested the formation of 2,500 brigades to care for the elderly in the country’s communities and the activation of 12,000 comprehensive grandparents’ circles, to guarantee their food, health and personal care.

And as part of vertex ten, the head of state entrusted the Minister of People’s Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Admiral in Chief Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, to strengthen the peace quadrants in the most vulnerable areas of the country.

Likewise, he ordered the activation of the Houses of Justice and Peace and instructed the judges of the Supreme Court of Justice to join. President Maduro considered it necessary to carry out, no later than July, the election of 3,000 justices of the peace in the communities who will be elected by the popular vote.
