President Maduro: I believe in dialogue to achieve peace

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said this Sunday he believes in the process of dialogue that has been undertaken again with the Venezuelan opposition, and expressed his desire to reach true agreements in order to achieve peace.

“I believe in dialogue, I believe in the word, in agreements with dignity and sovereignty, because I believe in peace and I aspire that out of the board of dialogue installed with the coordination of President Danilo Medina and Rodriguez Zapatero, will come out reliable agreement, and most importantly, that comes out a permanent system of dialogue”, he said during the broadcast of the program “Los Domingos con Maduro” (Sundays With Maduro).

From the Waraira Repano mountain, in a meeting with delegations participating in the International Journey of Solidarity “Todos Somos Venezuela” (We All Are Venezuela), he said that at the table of dialogue is been talking about sovereignty, democracy, the economic issue and the resolution of the problems of the people.

He regretted that some opposition representatives maintain a double discourse regarding the dialogue, following the meetings held this week with the Bolivarian Government in the Dominican Republic.

The National Leader explained that the Governments of Bolivia, Nicaragua, Chile and Mexico will also accompany the negotiations for restoring the board of dialogue between the National Government and the opposition.
