The Chancellor of the Republic assured the existence of espionage and cyber attacks against Venezuela from the United States.

The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, said on Sunday that there are elements proving actions of espionage and cyber attacks implemented by the Government of the United States (USA) against Venezuela.
Through the account on the Twitter social network, the Venezuelan diplomat shared a work done by Mision Verdad (Mission Truth) in which some of these actions are elucidated. He indicated that these illegal acts have been accepted and confessed by US officials:
“Evidences of US espionage and cyber attacks against Venezuela arises. Some of them accepted and confessed. An interesting report from @Mision_Verdad”, wrote the chancellor.
In the work done by Mision Verdad, entitled “Radiography of the advanced espionage attacks against Venezuela”, the web portal reveals that the Slovakian security company ESET would have discovered an advanced espionage attack against the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), by hackers, with the purpose of mapping the location of their most sensitive military units.
Mision Verdad indicates that ESET researcher Alexis Dorais-Joncas affirmed that the main target of this espionage is the Venezuelan military:
“In this case, we are pretty sure that most of the victims of these hackers belong to the Venezuelan army, based on the documents that have been captured”.
Mision Verdad ends this work by emphasizing that: “With these actions the Pentagon is paving the way to intensify the unconventional war against Venezuela, in order to seize not only its resources, but to lecture on whatever political initiative may arise in the continent contrary to their hegemony”.
